Getting a Mortgage

Does anyone know if it's possible to use your second pillar (or whatever part of your pension) to obtain a mortgage in an EU country ? Germany in our case.

I put 2 years of swiss company pension contributions into our modest abode in France, no problem. Does it depend on the company? I'm cr*p at knowing this sort of thing.

Thanks. I was more interested to know if it was possible. We want to get a place in Germany but I'll still be based here mostly.
