I haven't heard anything that euro dropped value regarding USD.

erm. there's a currency market out there. you don't peg chf to eur without having an impact on everything else.

Can anyone recommend a bank that allows instant CHF > EUR transfers?
With ZKB I can only do next day transfer (although not sure if that's a bad thing looking at current rate). Their online banking portal is also still using 1.20 as the exchange rate, but I assume that will be corrected by midnight when my order gets executed.

It also increases the Swiss buying power to absurd levels. At this rate they can buy big villa's in neighbouring France for less than the price of a 70m2 flat around Geneva.

Looking forward to month end & the likely initiation of ECB quantitive easing what effect will that have on the EUR/CHF fx rate.

I moved CHF to Euro today.

I think they will spend the weekend trying to fix the Euro and it will return near the CHF1.20 to 1Euro level next week.

Hope I'm right.

Either way, you'll most likely get a much better interest rate on your euros anyway than you get here on your Swiss Francs.
