ALV (Arbeitslosen Versicherung) Insurance Question

Hello everyone!
Sorry for going straight to the point, lost going on right now.
Does anyone knows if a EU holding a B permit, employed needs to pay for ALV?
Is the employer obliged to pay for it and what is the percentage due by the employee?
This is for Canton Zurich any help in English will be highly appreciated. Thanks you very much!
C.
