Kinderzulage (child allowance) - Renewal

I have a peculiar issue. My child allowance just stopped after being here for about 18 months. I have just been told by HR that we have to get E411 filled in again and is to be sent back to UK again for approval. We have moved here from UK, have our 5 years B visas and have a full time job.

What I do not understand is why do we have to get to that painful process again or is that something that HR in my company has "screwed up"? Last time it took them 7 months to get that processed.

Regards and Thanks

Re: Kinderzulage (child allowance) - Renewal

If HR cannot tell you where the problem is, how can we? Maybe you didn't complete the form properly?

Please complete this form in block letters, writing on the dotted lines only.
It consists of five pages, none of which may be left out, even if it does not
contain any relevant information

Re: Kinderzulage (child allowance) - Renewal

After some investigation, it turned out that someone in HR has not notified SVA that my family is in Switzerland. Total bonkers.

Hopefully, this will resume now.

What I have asked was if someone had similar issue before that Child Allowance would have to be "extended".
