Which bank to choose

Hi all,

I need to open a joint cash account and be able to access it via internet to do domestic and international transactions. Any advice on which bank to to take or avoid?

Cheers,

Ed

Re: Which bank to choose

Hi there,

I got an account at Postfinance which is fairly cheap, comes with online access (if you choose e-finance) and offers several options for international transactions which I admittedly haven't tested yet.

Best wishes
Bolther

Re: Which bank to choose

All banks here have equally bad customer service and low interest rates.

Choose the one close to you for your convenience, ideally with multi functional ATMs (the ones you can also pay in money, get Euros out and so on), so you avoid to cue during the far to short opening times...

Re: Which bank to choose

All of the banks here are the same (as if I would know. I mean, please, what am I going to do, open an account with them all so that I have personal experience ).

UBS do what you ask for. Excellent E-banking. Excellent foreign transfers. Compared to my direct experience of a few banks in the UK and France and Luxembourg that is.

Credit Suisse has been very good for me. Their online banking is excellent for pretty much any type of payments/transfers.

Re: Which bank to choose

Credit Suisse has been good for me as well. Online banking is excellent, and there are many locations.

My wife has Post Finance, and she has not complained once about them.
The ATM's are virtually everywhere.

Good luck,
Grant
