My friend got this message on her answering machine from her Swiss shrink. " I am feeling insecure, I am thinking that I needing to make an appointment" He meant " I am unsure as to where we stand with the apponitment schedule" she gave up with counselling. Like the cat!

Re: 20 minute had this small survey

I read a survey a couple of years ago which stated that the average Brit had a mere £500 (about CHF1170) in savings. However, this did not take account of the wealth 70% of the nation have in their inflated property values....

Wow!

No way will I announce on a public forum that I have $100 million tucked under my matress.

Yes, but you neglect to mention- it's a designer matress and not a cheap imitation

Which indeed would cost you about 1170CHF in any case...so nothing to put under it.

Re: 20 minute had this small survey

Switching track, and maybe mattresses, I heard that Turkish banks have good rates, do you have to reside in Turkey to bank with one? I am about to exchange pounds to dollars-the exchange rate is good. Any suggestion on what to make it grow?

There was an article on Reporting Scotland last night about how 40% of Scots have no saving at all. This was from a survey of people doing their Christmas shopping. I guess it's all going on the never never.

Re: 20 minute had this small survey

20min polls are special.

They had this "Should SUV be banned?" poll.
Results jumped around from one extreme to another
