Re: Multi Currency Credit Card ["Revolut"]

Anyone here who tried to transfer EUR to Revolut with the SWIFT code LOYDGB21F09 as mentioned on the app?

I had to call UBS and learned that this SWIFT code is not SEPA compliant so I could only send regular x-border payments to that SWIFT (extra expensive).

Do you mean the app, or the card? Is the card available to CH residents again? Revolut cancelled mine nearly 9 months ago, due to my CH residency...

Yes, it cost 5CHF using "all cost to receiver"

I transfered EUR in the past from my CS account to their old Barclays account, I don't recall being charged anything. In any case the fee should not be more than CHF5.- to send money to the UK.

I have some fees included with my banking package (Bonviva) for transfers.

Yes the card of course not the app. So YES the card is available again!

I plan to try and use it as my main card since CHF is available as a holding currency and eventually cancel the expensive banking package!

Still have to carry the Maestro for cash withdrawals.

.
Yes, CHF 5 but a lot more expensive than a SEPA Transfer!! Which means the currency conversion needs to be good to compensate for that.

Well, I tried linking my existing physical card to my long established account and was advised that there was a verification process to go through. I went through this ten minute process yesterday morning and until now, nada.

Yes, I ordered the card in the app. I was given a few options on the delivery... standard or fast. You have to pay for both. 7chf for standard, 17 for fast. I elected standard, and was told the card should be with me before July 11.

Later I received an email saying the card has been dispatched. I will let you know as soon as i get it.

If things work out, I might upgrade from the standard service. But having been burned already by these guys, I am a bit hesitant. Let's see.

Re: Multi Currency Credit Card ["Revolut"]

My carnd has also been received a couple of days ago!

If you speak to customer service in the chat they will refund the card delivery fee for customers who had the original card that was subsequently disabled and can no longer be linked. Only CHF7.- but a nice gesture from them.

Additionally the card that has been dispatched is indeed despatched from Poland, what's curious though is when I've used it the instructions on the card reader are all in Polish!! I spoke to the support guys and they said they will take care of it, let's hope they can!

In other news, the people who invested in the CrowdCube investment round are sitting on a tidy 700% return in under a year or so! Because the new investment round on Seedr values the company at £300 mil when the original valuation was £43mil Finally I can say I have beaten fatmanflims' returns percentage wise at least! (Only invested a symbolic £10! )

Re: Multi Currency Credit Card ["Revolut"]

nice idea. i got one. could never get the card activated. changed phone. now my account is zero balance. support takes 5 hours to respond on chat and didn't fix it. very low limits on what you can spend anyway meaning the maximum saving is actually quite small even with spot rate.

their website support section is full of unhappy customers.
