just an interesting point here. when im topping up currently the "verified by visa" screen is being presented, however you cant enter anything in it - it isnt resized to fit on an iphone 5s and you cant scroll around = you literally cant enter it and payment is refused!
infurating.

MSE doesn't work to me.. And I don't receive the sms for registering. I know this is not an IT support forum but did someone experiment the same issues? Did you register with a swiss phone number?

The new version of the app (2.4.3) now allows you to email yourself / print monthly statements... Not a ground breaking feature but a necessary one if you need statements for whatever reason.

Thanks everyone for bringing this up. Have just opened the account, scanned in my passport etc (and one horrible selfie.....) and will send some money over to use when we are on holidays in the UK.
So far it went really smoothly so hope it stays that way.
As mentioned by others, it would be really nice if they would add the CHF!
Edit: Your identity has been successfully verified. That was fast!

Now for the next test soon: paying in GBP | | | | | When using the card in the UK in GBP you can't get DCC'd, because it's detected as a domestic card.
You can swap your EURs into GBP now and spend 1:1 in GBP, or leave your balance in EUR and see automatic swapping happening as you spend.
I guess the change now / change later issue is a trading question, not a Revolut question. But you now have options. | This user would like to thank ChrisNeedsToKnow for this useful post: | |

Why would you want DCC, that would kill the whole idea of the revolut card as exchange rate would be set by a 3rd party, right?

Insofar "can't get DCC'ed" would rather be "mistakenly choose to use DCC"? (On the other hand, last I checked, Amazon was pre-selecting DCC, which I consider Bad Boy Behaviour)

I discovered it when the confirmation email came, so cancelled the order (which is instant) and re-ordered more carefully.

So Revolut, is looking for investors! (More info: Investment Page)
Apparently they are offering regular customers a chance to invest a total of £1'000'000!
Their presentation (attached) is also interesting regarding their plans for the next few months, which includes accepting CHF and a host of other currencies as top up currencies!
Anyone else thinking of investing? There are risks involved (see FAQs) with investment in a company like this so this is by no means a post to encourage others to invest but I believe it's a nice gesture if indeed the customers are offered the chance to invest at an early stage along with big VCs.

I was thinking we probably have enough EF users here to connect with each other and qualify. http://www.englishforum.ch/finance-b...ent-round.html
I couldn't find the company on crowdcube, but potentially it could qualify for EIS relief.

OK. I found that I have 2 contacts on revolut and need 10 more. I'm guessing this will increase as time goes on.
