Where to get a Betreibungsauszug for company?

Hi I need to get a document showing a company is free of claims for unpaid debts past and present. In German this is a Betreibungsauszug. How does one do this?

For individuals it is fast and easy to get online where you are the subject of the Betreibungsauszug one just goes one's own Gemeinde website.

But where to get one for a company? It is a company registered in Kanton Zurich. I understand from reading other posts in EF that to request it you need to be an officer if the company, /signatory. But no other clues...

Thanks

You need to ask the company to provide it.

Yes. So if I am the one having to get it, or put another way, if I am the company, where do I go?

Hi ,

Normally if you apply for credit or you want to get something on leasing the bank can check this .
The other option is to call at : Handelsregister amt or Cantonal Tax Office  .
They can tell you the easies way to get one .

Best
peter
