Reviewing my PostFinance transactions I saw the payment that was addressed to E-FINANCE 01-4043-8, UBS SWITZERLAND AG, 1002 LAUSANNE.

There is no more details about it. How is it possible for me to figure out the name of the beneficiary of payment?

Ask your bank? Or type in the account number in a transfer and see if automatically the name pops up

I don't use Post Finance but on UBS you can click on the line with the transfer and you get a second page with the detail. You can try that first.

Also in the UBS payment system if you are on the payments page you can enter the account number (the numbers in your example) and you will get a payment form (it thinks you want to make a payment) but it will also give you the account holder details.

Looking at the numbers, I would guess that it was a payment you made for something.

Thanks, tried it. I only see that it's UBS itself, located in 1002 Lausanne Place St-François 16. It's very strange, I don't see any reference numbers, nothing. It seems that I just sent money to UBS bank or something.

I had a quick look. The account number actually belongs to UBS in Lausanne (not just a client at that bank branch).

So, you paid some money to UBS Lausanne. You just need to find out why.

Credit card? Regular bank fees, fees for a Maetro card. Give them a call

doesn't look like that, my bank is not UBS, but postfinance and I have no credit card. Also it's 650CHF, way too much for such stuff.

01-4043-8 = SwissCaution SA, you may have pay fees for a rental guarantees without bank deposit.
