Yes and they replied they would do so. I don't profess to fully understanding GDPR and all its nuances but you can certainly give the instructions to delete all your data. Then how do they call you? (other than ignoring it, but aren't they effectively breaking the law then??).

Hi the same has happened to me. I invested in the Strategic Growth Fund via a QROPs in 2011. Just read the JAMs final report published in July 2018 and only 10% of the money is likely to be returned.

I am interested and motivated to consider practical steps to higlight DeVeres behaviour, for example through FINMA, UK Pension Ombudsman etc. I am looking to connect with other like minded people.

I have attached a screen shot of my latest communication. Its brilliant.

My tactic when they call, if they want a chat, they need to take me out for drinks. Usually this ends the conversation, however, the latest one agreed. So true to my word I would find time to have a drink on them and listen to what they have to say.

After accepting, proposing dates and times and also being very clear on my view of the company, but I would be open minded. I heard nothing back. I then get the email attached a few weeks later. I am told how professional Alison is..."I know my own standards & values" & "clients who can vouch for my own integrity and what I stand for"

Sure enough I agree to meet, ask where works for her, and absolutely nothing back. So it seems this professional outfit cant even manage their diaries or potential clients when people do agree. They must be so robotic and hear no so many times, not marking it in the diary is a reflex

For unprofessional behavior to potential clients the tariff goes up. Lunch or dinner now if they want a chat

I've been getting calls recently (about once a week) from a UK number, each time its "Hi I'm Alex calling from XYZ, I've noticed in your profile that you're living in Switzerland" etc. The number keeps changing (first London, then Bristol) and so does the company name, but its the same guy's voice! A couple of times I tried to ask why he was calling - he hung up directly. Once I answered the call without saying anything - no sound on the other side. Getting rather annoying to have to screen all UK calls (and keep adding numbers to the blocked list).

Every time anyone receives a call from de vere, or guardian wealth management, just ask them for their FINMA registration number for their Swiss registered entity.

Don’t be too disappointed if they take a while to get back to you with it.

Apart from any other issues, such appalling attention to detail in grammar and spelling while communicating with a client is just what I'm looking for in a financial adviser...
