Pillar 3a tax refund missed deadline

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to submit pillar 3a tax refund after official deadline date (31.03.)? Would it be possible if I bring all necessary documents directly to their office?

Thank you for answers.

Re: Pillar 3a tax refund missed deadline

What is written in "Antrag für quellensteuerpflichtige Arbeitnehmende auf Neuveranlagung der Quellensteuer 2016" form:

- Der Antrag ist bis zum 31. März 2017 einzureichen (Poststempel massgebend, Frist nicht erstreckbar)

Which means that they will accept mails only with post stamps not later than 31.03.2017. But can I submit my documents in their office in this case?

Nope, you missed it. Frist nicht erstreckbar == Deadline not extendable.
Sorry, but you may still try.

You scared me for a moment there...

Depends on the canton.

I have a Basel-stadt form which states:
"bis 30. September des auf die Steuerperiode folgenden Kalenderjahres"
