Bern tax authorities

http://www.20min.ch/schweiz/bern/sto...-Geld-28750334

Seems the Bern tax authorities only send the refund for married people to either a joint bank account or the bank account of the husband.....

Unbelievable!

(Similarly, as per the tax documents my husband should file the taxes here although he doesn´t live here, I am only person 2.....)

Re: Bern tax authorities

We already gave you voting rights in 1971, what more do you want?

Nah, but serious, Switzerland still has a long way to go when it comes to gender equality and this shows in many different ways.

Bern tax authority should have a look at their own law. https://www.belex.sites.be.ch/frontend/versions/1040
In particular Art. 245 "Leben Ehegatten in tatsächlich und rechtlich ungetrennter Ehe, kann die Rückerstattung an jeden der Ehegatten erfolgen."

If you're desperate for tax forms to fill out you can do mine. I'll even call you "person 1" for as long as you keep filling my tax forms out.
