| Tax at source assumes some cantonal average tax rate and flat rate deductions. Depending on your actual deductions and the tax rate of you either get reimbursed or have to pay the difference.
The city of Zurich has a rather high tax rate and people living in the city often also work there which means there travel deductions are lower than tax at source assumes. Hence a considerable higher tax bill.
