Credit card fraud by Digitec Galaxus

I had several payments from my card sent to Digitec Galaxus. Unfortunately, they claim that payments were made for something that has been already claimed and do not disclose any further details, even an invoice.

Has anyone had similar experience? How to best go about this?

I have already submitted a claim to my bank and reported this to the police in the UK (I am based in London now). How can I submit a claim for Swiss police?

Re: Credit card fraud by Digitec Galaxus

So, there's no possibility at all that it's some kind of procedural error, or that some third party is using your card fraudulently - you're convinced that it's Galaxus Digitec committing criminal fraud.

Do you have any assets? The UK is great place to sue for libel.

File a claim with your credit card company.

you are aware that credit card 'fraud' isn't actually a crime in the uk anymore? - so the uk police will do bugger all.

just one of the governments stunning measures to reduce crime

Sign into your digitec Galaxus account(s) and have a look at your purchase history.

Someone may have compromised your account.

Well it certainly works, since they now do nothing and you can't report it, crime is well down, i saw the statistics, can't cheat the figures....

Thanks! I have never bought anything from them. In fact, I had no clue about their existence until now.

You are right - I filed with other authorities.

Is there a way to file with Swiss police or financial crime authorities?

The way Digitec was handling the issue is raising significant worries. Can I file a complaint against them? Is there an equivalent of Trustpilot in Switzerland?

Interesting. Who did you get your phone/abo from when you were here? It may be the ongoing phone bills (https://helpcenter.digitecgalaxus.ch...th-a-contract-)

Why? From the information you've supplied it looks like someone has set up an account on Digitec using your credit card details. Now you contact them and they won't give you details. Well of course they won't. Why should they? You don't have an account with them, they don't know your from Adam. Even if they investigate internally and make it a police matter, there's no reason for them to keep you informed.

The correct approach is to go via your bank and let them sort it out. I assume you've had your card cancelled now?
