Neither. I wouldn´t invest in pillar 3B e (can´t see the advantage of that) and especially not as an life insuranc and Immobilienfonds might look attractive, just google what happened to a lot of them.

If you want to invest, several people here like Fundsmith

I personally wouldn´t call Immobilienfonds less risk nor an insurance (first years you pay in and won´t get back anything worst case).

If you want less risk go for government bonds, munies (if there are still ones that actually give interest), or something called in German "mündelsichere Anleihen".
