Have you tried Grenzpaket? They have many addresses in neighbouring countries, I use the one in Weil am Rhein and basically it is someone’s house, where all stuff gets delivered. Don’t know about others
^ Grenzpaket, LAS Burg amongst others only let you use their addresses but won't act as the importer of goods — and precisely, that is what DHL requires when buying from amazon.com and sending to such shops.
I order from amazon.com all the time and send it to my post box on the other side of the border. I’ve never had any issues. A couple of times UPS/DHL have asked me for more info and I just tell them it’s a private purchase. I used viabox.com (a pkg forwarder) once and that box was held by customs and I had 5 business days to go and get it. But once I got there all I needed to show was my Swiss permit.

Where do you collect your items sent via viabox.com?

I use Europaketshop in Waldshut-Tiengen, but if I did it over again I would use the one by the Obi, which I’m pretty sure is Worldpaketshop. The people who own EPS are seriously rude jerks, the woman is a complete cow.
