I worked a month and one week last year and I noticed on my payslip that my payroll company is using the wrong category A0Y, (I have a child and no church tax, ie A1Y) and the wrong rate, they chose 21,83% for an income of around 3k. Based on the tables here it should have been 1,88%.

Since I am now registered, along with my family and my son, in Zurich. Will the tax authorities automatically recalculate the Quellensteuer for me and return me the excess? If not, then what do I need to do to get this excess money back? Do they really just assume that the payroll companies calculate this tax correctly?
p.s: I didn't choose the payroll company. I'd fire them if I could.
