Will I have to file taxes again?

I did not find an answer in the search bar, sorry if this was already posted.

I am taxed at source with a B-Permit, and until now I chose to file my taxes every year (with a NOV) to get something back for my pillar 3a investments.

I do not earn over 120.000 CHF/year, but I do have some assets.

At the moment, with the taxes I pay for my assets / dividends and the taxes I get back for my pillar 3a, I get some money back in the end, but filing the taxes is quite a hassle for me.

I am thinking about not paying in a Pillar 3a anymore and stopping to file for a NOV (nachträgliche ordentliche veranlagung).

Will the tax authorities make me file my taxes next year anyways, because I have some assets, or will they leave me be?
