Hi all, i recently paid annual tax on an AUDI Q5 and have downsized to a mercedes a class. With a smaller car and engine, am i entitled to any tax back and how do I claim this?

I don’t know how it is in Zurich but in Neuchâtel they either reimburse the difference if the new car is lower or send a bill for the difference if more tax is due.
I assume you’ve registered the new car on the same plates as the old ones.

I had the same some years ago for not too much money. They sent me a check for the difference.
