Choosing a broker

after quitting my job, I'm free to hold a brokerage account where i want and can trade at lower fees (i did not trade much for this reason)

I am looking for a solution that will help me (in this priority) :
- to pay less tax and do less paper work (claiming withholding tax, simplifying tax declaration etc)
- pay minimum fees, depot, security delivery etc. (i will not trade very very frequently, funds and some single lines; i have some stocks, funds and perhaps some structured products that i will need to deliver from my previous employer account)

after searching the forum, US interactive brokers seems like a good option. I'm a EU (french) citizen so perhaps there is something geographically closer (to simplify procesdures, in case i move back to EU)

Thank you

Re: Choosing a broker

I have been very happy with IB. Good service and very low costs.
