| | anyone has the UBS app can "scan" their orange payment slip?
entering the long reference number in Ebanking manually has always been a waste of time and energy. I have seen on UBS website they say:
Conveniently pay by scanning a payment slip
No need to type out long reference numbers. Simply scan a payment slip and confirm the payment directly in the app.
On this webpage https://www.ubs.com/ch/en/private/di...e-banking.html
under
"Conveniently pay by scanning a payment slip"
In the menu, go to “Payments > Scan payment slip”.
I downloaded the app but simply don't have the "Payments" at the home page...
Anyone can help? Thanks

Works fine for me. make sure you are scanning the payment slip and that you are scanning the correct area! I think it should be the reference codes to the right of the slip or the at the bottom. cant remember exactly!
on the app, at the top right corner press the 3 horizontal lines, the menu pops open, click payments, then Scan & pay. Camera pops open with a box you need to focus the code on
Good luck.

It actually works really well. But when its a new payee, ie the first time. You will still need the card reader and authenticate the payment with a generate code. After they are stored in your system you no longer need the card reader.

I edited mine so it appears on the main page. Much easier to get to now.

Is the name of the app you are using called "UBS Banking"? BTW Are you using Android OS? | Quote: | | | | | See in the settings - you can customize what you see in the home-page, so maybe the "scan" option is simply not appearing in the home-page, but "hidden" in the left pane amongts the other options. | | | | | Thanks I have thought about this, but the only things I could add in the home page are: Market Overview, Portfolios, Currency Converter, Settings and Products, also the App forbid me to take print-screen, which makes it difficult to explain here...

Update: I went to UBS and solved the problem, the reception person did something under "setting" she did a few clicks in 30 seconds so I haven't remembered the whole schema. but the point is we have to add the relevant account to have "scan payment" to appear, despite we were already connected with our identity. For example in my case, she had to add the "checking account" and confirm

It is a pity they don’t provide something similar for the web app. I scan all my bills to file but they can’t read the pdf from the file.

Maybe I haven't figured out properly yet but I find the implementation a bit annoying.
I have a pile of orange slips and just want to scan all of them one after the other. UBS however makes me click a few different things (Enter, execute, etc.) before I can scan the next one.
I used to be with Raiffeisen and their app was better. You scan one, and then just continue immediately to the next one. But Raiffeisen had terrible customer service...
