ZKB General Terms & Condition Agreement letters

I keep getting these letters from them which I have not signed so far. I guess I have no option but to sign and return them? I read through all the terms and love how they protect their own backside.

I also hate how they keep spam calling me about how the manager would like to meet me.

Sorry that you could not read my mind

I have had an account with ZKB for many years. They just sent me a "Basic Agreement" update document that I need to sign and send back.

It has stuff like-
- They cannot guarantee confidentiality as the data passes through 3rd parties and countries etc.
- Client will be liable for any issues arising from E-banking....

Basically 3 pages of typical bank legal speak.

Re: ZKB General Terms & Condition Agreement letters

If the bank considers these conditions essential, and you don't sign that you agree to them, after a while they will probably write again to say either:

a) from DATE these conditions apply, and anyone not having closed their accounts with us by then will be deemed to have agreed to the new conditions,
or
b) your account will be closed on DATE, unless you sign and return your consent to the new conditions before DATE.

Yes. We also got called fairly regularly by ZKB saying that we should come to their bank to discuss our account security arrangements.

That only happens when you have "a lot" of money in the account. Usually six-figures.
They want you to invest it in one of their investment vehicles.

I think you can go there once and tell them right out that you don't want to have to do anything with that and they'll stop pestering you.
Their time is usually worth something, too, and they're not really keen on wasting it either.
