DHL delivery with tax paying

So, I've got something delivered from EU wirh DHL. And I've got now what I need to pay additionally to DHL because the price was 65.84chf.
So:
1. Tax - 5.10chf
2. Vorlageprovision - 3.00chf
3. Kontroabwicklungsgebühren - 19.00chf

What are points 2 and 3?
Do I really need to pay them?

If I would order again, how can I not pay this in future?

Thanks!

Don't by stuff from outside CH for more than CHF 65 including postage!

Here's the DHL Customs Services price list in English:
https://www.dhl.ch/exp-en/express/cu..._services.html

Vorlageprovision is the first charge on the list.
Kontoabwicklungsgebühren is the second charge.

Yes, you really have to pay them. Unlike the VAT charge, they are independent of the value of the goods.

2: They paid the tax in advance and now collect them from you, that comes with a small fee.

3: Checking of package, calculating fees etc.. basically handling costs.

And yes you have to pay all of them, next time inform yourself a bit better before importing goods

Nah, taxfree shopping for more expensive goods can really be worth it. (or a big box of nostalgic childhood candy from the grounds where I was born :P

Re: DHL delivery with tax paying

So ordered a tennis racket from Germany with delivery to Switzerland, shipping with DHL. Pleasantly surprised that I only had to pay the 10 CHF of VAT, at least so far! I had expected there to be an admin fee. Maybe that'll come later?

Numerically it was half the cost of getting it in Switzerland and the stringing and delivery was for free.

.
I am not sure about the timing, but I would say no. The admin fee is added when the customs really check the package, to evaluate if it was something falsely declared. Irrespective of the validity of the declaration, am administrative fee is added to the costs.

A document from 2015 mentioning this can be found here (pdf to be downloaded)

Re: DHL delivery with tax paying

Sharing my experience with similar case.
bought two bottles online from Germany of a particular liquor that I can't find here , The merchant quoted me extra delivery charges for taxes and shipping to CH.

In addition, a month after DHL delivered the bottles, I got another invoice for taxes for almost as much as the bottles.

I complained with DHL for over a month, and eventually I had to pay.

My advice, avoid buying online from Germany.

Or send it to a Packstation in Germany and pick it up. For sure there must be one in Jestetten??
