Getting a refund - my studpidity

About a year and a half ago, I cancelled my UPC subscription and moved to UPC.

Stupidly, I forgot to cancel my recurring payment... resulting in me sending nearly 1500 CHF to UPC.

I'm just emailed them (and will call tomorrow), what does the collective mind think the likelihood of me getting a refund will be?

Am I going to pay for my stupidity?

M.

UPC should repay you according to Swiss Civil Code, articles 62-67, "Obligations deriving from Unjust Enrichments:

If necessary, example letters in German requesting a repayment can be found by searching on: "rückforderung irrtümlicher zahlungen muster" and similar.

Short circuit!

Cancelled UPC, and moved to salt...
Now had to cancel Salt, and move back to UPC (which is why I found out... as I was going to setup the autopay only to find that it was already there )
