| At what price do the fees end? | |
| | |
Our fees are based on the tax forms required in the tax return. So the more complicated the tax return the more forms are needed and the higher the fee will be. For our most complicated clients our fees can be over CHF 2,000 (this is the international average cost of the U.S. tax return of an expat). We charge much less than this on average, well under CHF 1,000 is our average fee, with single earners averaging much less and dual earner households averaging a little more. The highest fees we have ever charged were for dual earning families with many accounts and assets, especially foreign funds which require extra forms for each purchase of the fund. Often these clients will have their own businesses, rental properties and own stocks or other investments that are sold during the year with each item adding more forms to the tax return.
We have our fees per form listed on our website and we try to be as transparent as possible. I hope this answers your question and sorry for the delay, I had difficulty logging in to answer and resetting the password wasn't working.
Best regards,
