Online Payment System for a new startup company

Hi all

Recently I've started my own business (a sole proprietorship/an Einzelfirma) and I am going to sell an application via an online payment system on my webiste and looking for a payment systems.

As I understand, postfinance is a good solution for switzerland but payrexx offers better + (it offers postfinance card+efinance as well).. And its price is chearper than postfinance and all other services that I've looked at.

Here is a great article in german

https://medium.com/payrexx/payment-s...h-ac3a32970836

I would like to know if someone among us, is using postfinance or payrexx or any other service? and if yes, what do you advice me?

I would be so happy if you could share your knowledge.

I've never heard of them. I use Stripe and Paypal, both work easily and reliably

Re: Online Payment System for a new startup company

I guess your application doesn't belong in one of the existing stores, Google play, Apple App store etc.
I have got no experience (apart from, that is, walking past the Payrexx office a few times a week as they are based here). However, I looked at the link you provided and it does appear that you can use their system without upfront costs or monthly costs and without any long term commitment. If you carry on like that, you pay a higher transaction cost or opt for one of their other schemes.
On their own web site, all the information is available in English: https://www.payrexx.ch/en/home/

I refuse to use Paypall. Have a look at their T&Cs will tell you why.

It does not really matter, it is a very widely used payment method and for a business to not support it would short sighted.

Nine Frances a month + 2.6% + 0.30, seems like there are monthly charges and if you click to create an account you need to pay CHF116.30 up front.

Well, they do also have something called Paxrexx Free with restricted features but claim no monthly fees. https://www.payrexx.ch/en/pricing/ (scroll to bottom).

So they have, well hidden... but without the API, integration etc... will not be much.

Re: Online Payment System for a new startup company

Hello Martin,

The payment service provider you choose should cater to the volume of transactions you expect, the web platform you are going to be using, and the locale of your customers.

You might might want to look at wallee, they support multiple platforms and they are quite easy to setup.
