Mirai Life Securities

Hello,

I have been contacted by an investment company called Mirai Life Securities. Does anyone else know this company, or has anyone been contacted by them?

No, never heard of them.

Personally I´d run if someone contacts me out of the blue and wants to offer me financial advice.

There are a few basic rules to have a good life in Switzerland. One of them is to tell cold callers to f*** off.

Re: Mirai Life Securities

They have turned up in the Japan FSA list of "cold callers" here:

https://www.fsa.go.jp/en/refer/cold/index.html

Specifically in the list of Non-Registered / Non-Authorised Entities, here:

https://www.fsa.go.jp/en/refer/cold/201912-1.pdf

Be wary.

Re: Mirai Life Securities

Which number they called from? Use https://www.local.ch/de to verify the identity of the caller.

For example I got today a call from 062 575 41 26. Put that number in the search box, this number is identified as "telefonmarketing", thus didn't answer.

If the number is not even from Switzerland, higher probabilities of fraud.

Re: Mirai Life Securities

Basically, as others have said, if someone calls you to try to sell you something, hang up. There are many cowboys operating in CH trying to sell investments to expats, just tell them to go away.

Thanks to all for your replies.
I just found this article and video (in German):

So indeed looks like a scam
