Why would you own BB in the first place?

QNX? Among a huge base of patents.

Regardless of the rise and fall of their handhelds - cyber-security has always been their background, and although people don't care about it in the phones, there are a lot of systems that require it.

haha. Good question. If I remember correctly, I bought a few lots around $20-40 about 15 years ago, started to sell them in batches at around the $100 mark, but just before I could sell the last batch of 200 shares, the price crashed. I figured that I made enough profit already and I'll just hold on to them and see what happens and since those days I've kept to small time index investing so I haven't really bothered to take care of it. I've closed my position yesterday.

Yesterday Intel surged on the announcement of the new CEO, so I cashed in to lock in the 15% profit.

Intel still have a tough year ahead so I feel it will sink back to the late 40's or more depending if there is another crash, upon which point I will re-invest in preparation for when they make a real comeback in 2022.
Huge strategic shift from Intel. I didn't think they'd have the balls to do this:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...he-future.html

Bad news: they more or less confirmed they are 3 years behind in process technology compared to TSMC

Good news: they are on the right path now

Big questions ahead on whether they can execute on the plan and whether they can make a success out of IFS. Also how can they price x86 IP competitively without cannibalizing their chip business, or are they willing to sacrifice their high margin chip business?

I think we will reach peak hysteria soon once it goes out of control in the US and the US investors start to panic.

There are already quite a few bargains around, but there's no hurry...
Funny looking at the date of this comment... that was the "dip" until now... But the bubble will explode and will keep going down for YEARS, otherwise look at the 2007 crisis, the worse was at 2011

Interest rates are still too low. Artificially being kept way too low. The punch bowl is not yet empty.

Not YET... my guts tell me that when the free money stops, 3 to 6 months after the bubble will burst.

After the federal debt ceiling has bee raised. Until that's happened we may well be in for a rollercoaster. IIRC the political constellation is comparable to 2013, when the GOP delayed agreeing until a few days before the deadline. I guess that's why Yellen doesn't give a clear end-date for this time around.
