I don't care how much he is making but I do know how much he bought his house in London back in 2008 or 2009 and from that you can imply his compensation (at that time he was only a VP, he is an MD and head for the past 6-7 years).
You will never see him on CNBC or Bloomberg. And when I see him on Kings Rd he is a regular dude. At this level there are maybe 100 people like him in London. | | | | | So?

The amusing thing is if he paid £10,000,000 in 2008 he won't get his money back today |

Both articles you linked are mentioning bond purchases via ETFs. Corporate bonds they are buying. | | | | | You wrote
"FED as far as we know now doesn't buy any stocks or ETFs. They buy bonds only."
It turns out they buy bond ETFs, so your statement is incorrect.

I didn't know that they are buying bond ETFs now, but the important thing is they are not buying stocks yet.

He is a multimillionaire and probably has bought other houses as well.. Even if real estate goes down these guys are really smart and have diversified their money.

The NASDAQ technology market is gaining ground today after streak of losses. Let’s hope that the market that hit the bottom in mid of March 2020 has been reversing.

We're reaching quarter end, I expect a lot of automatic re-balancing which will transfer from bonds to stocks to give a quarter end bounce before the next leg down takes place.

I take many of these articles with a pinch of salt, but this one is interesting reading and fits with what my thoughts are regarding an upcoming slide given what the situation will be until the effects of COV are diminished... https://seekingalpha.com/article/433...content=link-0 |

Nobody knows if this will happen this year next year or in 10 years time.

Not everyone is a pro investor or a market expert.

They can be ignored by long term investors just try to find 1987 on the Dow Jones graph below.

I just wanted to state my opinion. Next crash will be big but nobody can predict the future (nobody can time it pretty much)
You in turn you just attacking me in an online forum? Why? If you don't agree with me write your predictions.
Btw in seeking alpha there are amateur investors contributing to the site with their own opinions. I read this site as well, it is good but keep in mind that most people there are not professional investors and mostly writing their wishful thinking and opinions are all over.

Mostly because of QE that has inflated the stock markets since then.
For now the markets have stabilise it seems but let's see what it will happen towards the summer and the end of the year. If I was going to guess, I would say we can go back to the highs before crashing even harder the next time.

The Banks should not have been rescued.
Just more market 'noise' due to the internet, last week was also the best week for the Dow Jones since 1938 +12.38%. The market is volatile & people can deal for FREE, this is new so people will trade more believing they can beat the market, when they are the market!

Wait for insolvency/bankruptcies. Right now there must be a lot of companies trying to avoid insolvency. People defaulting on their car and home loans is a story that has not even started.
Oil price went down only 26 days ago. The lockdown in Italy just started 22 days ago. Switzerland 2 weeks. Some regions in the US already closed, other about to close shop.
On Hubei on China they're restarting after 2 months. It seems their coal consumption is recovering but the container freight index keeps sinking (no exports) https://www.ft.com/coronavirus-latest
Even after the lockdown ends, people that used their savings to live for some months and pay for medical care, won't rush to to buy lots of new stuff.

Actually, oil price down is positive for the economy right now.
