Swiss pension reduced if you retire abroad?

Hi all,

I was told recently by a colleague at work that if you move to another country when you retire, the Swiss government does not give you your full pension entitlement. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Here's some general info, which distinguishes between Swiss citizens, those of the EU, non-EU and citizens of countries which have made a reciprocal agreement with the Switzerland, with regard to Social Security.

Great, I paid in as a EU citizen and will now be treated as a non-EU citizen...
Might as well go to the carrousell at 65.

It is likely that Switzerland will have a social security agreement with the UK in the same way that it does with other non EU countries.

One would hope so, but I live in Germany.
And as Slammer never does anything easy I need to get my pension from Denmark, Mexico, Germany, CH and Malta and maybe a little something from the UK.
Gonna be the kind of fun I never wanted.
