Pillar 2a (mandatory) - withdrawal

Morning all,

I have a couple of questions regarding pensions please.

I have circa 24k CHF left in a Swiss Pension fund, which I believe to be the 2a (mandatory part).

- is there any possibility that I can withdraw the mandatory part now the the UK is changing it's agreements with the EU? When I left CH this was not possible but maybe this is changing.

- alternatively, am I able to use all of the remaining mandatory part, as additional equity in a primary residence property purchase, that I am planning to make this year?

Any advice or guidance most welcome

Thanks!

Max

I can't answer your question specifically, but Switzerland not being part of the EU, has / will have, separate treaties directly with the UK.

You don't say of you're still living in Switzerland, but if not I'd suggest calling the Swiss embassy in London. They have a section that deals with pension matters.
