Assurance-Vie in Luxembourg or Switzerland?

I call it "assurance-vie" (AV) because I am not sure if "life insurance" is the exact same product. Anyway, I have not yet moved, but I am doing my homework. The Luxembourg AV seem to be a particularly interesting savings product as they are tax neutral. Now, from your experience, are the AV offered by the Swiss financial institutions favored in a way that would make them more interesting / profitable to a Swiss tax resident?

RUN RUN RUN AWAY from ANT INSURANCE based savings plan. There is no Tax of capital gains ZH so zero reason to pay huge fees to avoid a non existent tax.
