Sole prorietorship - VAT

For the sole proprietorship business type, how is VAT (MWST) tax declaration and clearance looking like?
Is it monthly clearance (incoming and outgoing invoices)?

You need to report your numbers with immidiate payment every 6 months.

You have to options, either pay 2,2% on your turnover or 7,7% on your profit margin

2,2% is simpler and less controlled. You need to see the numbers on your business and see which one is better
