Estimating the actual impact of Gemeinde tax (ZH)

Hi,

There are a couple of threads on Gemeinde taxes around, but these are mainly about what happens when you move etc.
I wanted to ask, with the tax rate table for Zurich canton in one hand and my tax declaration in the other (B permit, filing taxes for >120k), how to estimate what will be the actual decrease in taxes? (to basically "virtually subtract" it from the rent of a potential new apartment).
Say, for example, Zurich city to Kilchberg (119% -> 72%)

Thanks!

Local taxes are a percentage of cantonal taxes.

119% is 119% of the cantonal tax, 72% is 72% of the cantonal tax, savings is 119-72=47% of the cantonal tax.

Basic math.

Local taxes are a percentage of cantonal taxes.
In canton Zurich it is percentage of the simple tax (Einfache Steuer). By coincidence the tax for the canton is currently 100% of the simple tax together withe the commune depended tax this is billed as Staats- und Gemeindesteuer.
https://www.zh.ch/content/dam/zhweb/...e_20200207.pdf

If you know the Staats- und Gemeindesteuer then your future tax will be 172/219 of the current tax or 0.785 times the current Staats- und Gemeindesteuer. Bundessteuer (Federal Tax) will remain the very same.
