Recovering Swiss pension

I have spent some time this morning searching the threads and didn't find an answer to my specific question. Sorry for more posting on pensions!

I worked in Basel, Switzerland from Nov 2014 til May 2018. Paid all appropriate taxes and fees. Never collected unemployment. I then moved to Germany for a new job. My Swiss job informed me I couldn't take the pension with me since I was staying in the EU. So I moved the money Basel Kantonalbank.

I am now leaving Germany and going back to the USA. I know I can get my German pension after two years. Is there any way to also get the Swiss pension now that I will reside in the USA? Or its not possible til I am in my 60s?

I am a US citizen. Had a B-visa in CH if that matters. Blue card in DE.

Thanks in advance!
