| | Spreitenbach - Taxes
Hi all,
Hope I am not creating a topic that has been discussed before but I am trying to find a better area (in Zurich canton, or at least close to Zurich lake) where the taxes are lower than spreitenbach in aargau.
I think I pay more taxes in an area that doesn't have any interest.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Lutenbach, Texas
(That's what I first saw when I glanced over the title)

But Zurich City compared to Spreitenbach has a lower tax burden (depends on actual income), which means the most communes and specially those communes in canton Zurich with a lower Steuerfuss than Zurich City will most likely save some taxes.
As most likely the taxable income is known this calculator can be used: https://swisstaxcalculator.estv.admin.ch/
Actual taxable income might change slightliy from one canton to the next as deductions are not the same. Also travel cost and deductions can have an impact as well a housing prices and health insurance costs.

Very old, but still somewhat useful tool to get a general idea. For details, use a proper tax calculator. https://interaktiv.tagesanzeiger.ch/...euerbelastung/
And there are many more reasons not to live in Spreitenbach than Texas.

Thank you guys for the links and the humor
I never been to Texas so I can't compare. And movies and cnn is not always a good source of info.
For sure aargau has higher taxes than Zurich. Zug area is for sure the best but very high rentals and I will need to commute. Kilchberg is also good.
Let's see if I can move next year!
