How do I pay this taxation bill from the US?

I received a fee for completing taxes late. I don't have a Swiss bank account and the bill does not include a IBAN or any bank information. How am I supposed to pay a bill like this from abroad?

Also, the only contact info on the bill is a phone number and I don't have a way of making long distance phone calls a the moment.

I attached the bill just for the sake of information and I tried to redact my identifying information. Let me know if I made any mistakes.

Re: How do I pay this taxation bill from the US?

Option 1: talk to creditor and ask for IBAN detatils
Option 2: open a swiss bank account and pay using that

I hear it's very hard to get a Swiss bank account as a US citizen, so I think that just leaves option 1. How do I contact the creditor? They didn't even include a website.

The bill will have an address from the sender. If there is an email address on there, use it. Otherwise look up the name of that specific tax office and see whether they have an online contact form.

Beyond that, if you cannot phone them, then put your query in a letter in an envelope and post it to them. They are likely to reply, since you're trying to send them money.

Are you working or studying here? Do you have a residence permit? UBS and credit Suisse do allow bank accounts for many US citizens residing here.

Are you sure this is a real bill? Even the IRS has a website. But with them, who knows?

Ennui,
I think the OP is not in Switzerland, possibly in the US. If he was in Switzerland he could pay that BVR at any post office. And the bill comes from the Ticino tax authorities.

From Mullhollander’s links.

Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino Via General Guisan 5
6500 Bellinzona
conto 1061189.001.000.001
IBAN: CH05007641061189C000C
SWIFT: BSCTCH22XXX

Although NOT useful in this case and not even for orange ISR payments, it may also be useful for other cases.
