Considering leaving switzerland... pension effects?

Hi all, I have read through the Swiss pensions consolidated summary post, but I didn't see and answer that quite fit my situation.

I am considering leaving Switzerland to go to the USA and would like to take my Pillar 2 & 3 with me. I am not 100% certain this move will be "forever" and would like to remain eligible for Pillar 1 (AHV) if I ever return.**

Will Pillar 1 eligibility somehow be hurt by cashing out Pillar 2&3 money?

** I have little faith that the US Social Security system will be viable in 20 years.

No problem at all, you can permanently leave & then get another permanent job in CH 6 months later.

Unless you were here for less than 1 year, you will remain eligible for Pillar 1 (AHV), regardless of where you happen to be living when you reach the magic age of 64, 65, or whatever it happens to be by that time. It may not be much, though, if you didnít contribute for very long.
