Apologies if this has been addressed already, but is it typical not to have a bank account active after two weeks? I opened an account w/ UBS 2 weeks ago and was told that I should receive a card reader, etc in the mail. Nothing has arrived and when I called them I was told some paper work is still pending authorization. I provided all the documents at the time of opening w/ no issue.
