Hi y'all.
I've started a new job in ZH and I used to live in VD. I started my job on 10/11/20 and I registered in ZH on 15/11/20. My November payslip came and went and I was taxed in VD.
Meanwhile, the back-end admin site of my employer is probably from the 80s and hardly works - all the changes I tried to put in have not been recorded i.e.
my address, which remains in VD. I have been back and forth with HR about it and finally a payroll person says that they cannot retroactively change the address, so I will be taxed in VD for December.
I explained the date of my registration and that these address issues were an IT issue, turning into a big financial issue.
Do I have any leverage in this situation? I've sent them a copy of my registration in ZH and I'm awaiting a response. The December payment is supposed to come in the next 2 days so I'm not that hopeful but the fact that they are sending taxes to VD when I'm not even a resident there, is lazy.
Cheers
