Transferring UK pension to CH

Hello!

I am an Italian citizen who has recently moved to Switzerland to start full time employment. I am moving from the UK, where I have been studying + done some part time work/internships. As a result of this paid work I have two small pension accounts in the UK.

Question: Can I transfer the money from the UK accounts to the pillar 2 pension scheme I have opened here in CH? If yes, how?

Thanks in advance for the replies

Andrea

Options are far better in the UK via a SIPP, Swiss pension performance is virtually nothing as holding too many bonds & property.

This.

If I was allowed to I'd be moving my Swiss pension (1.5% p.a. ) into my UK SIPP (13% p.a.) !

I looked into it, and it isn't possible unless the Swiss pension company meets very strict criteria.

So my final salary pension from working for four years in British Gas in the early 90s... it stay in the UK to generate about 100CHF a month.

The transfer value would be obscene, if you transferred to a SIPP it would grow more than that. The transfer value will fall if interest rates rise as bond yield increases when valuing a Final salary scheme
