Sole Trader: Questions on Business Expenses Tax Deductions

Hey there!

I'm a sole trader (independent) and I would like to get some info on what I can deduct from my taxes, what is the upper limit and other info.

For example, if I need to upgrade my computer for work, does that count? And what would the limit be? I guess it depends on my yearly income, right?

I'm sure there is a page on that but I couldn't find it.

Thanks!

With SP status, you have a lot of leeway to cause costs for your business which can lead to very low taxes. I know someone with SP status that pays almost zero tax per annum (worst bill around 100,-)

Do you have a decent accountant? Are you playing the balancing act with MwSt?

I don't have any accountant yet (I started last year) and I don't know what MwSt it. What is it?

Is MwSt like VAT? I am in the French section, so that's TVA, right? What would the balancing act be?
