Permit B for Non-EU - Is other source of income allowed vs the daily job?
Dear all, I would love to have the clarity on quite vague topic. So far after doing some research here and over internet I can't come to the black and white conclusion.
As non-EU with B permit I'm aware that I'm not allowed to be self-employed or have a business. Assumption: in the below situations the work itself would be performed from Switzerland.
I have a couple of questions:
1) Can I have another source of income though? For instance, if my secondary source delivers 10% of my total income, e.g. from consultancy - is it allowed or not? In other words what swiss authorities consider as self-employment and/or business? Does it has anything to do with the % of income this secondary source generate?
2) If no: Does anything change If this source of income is coming from consultancy for clients outside of Switzerland?
3) If no: Does anything change if I organize a business/legal entity in the country outside of Switzerland and will be employed by this entity?
Thanks upfront!
