Does it really make sense to look for high dividend yield stocks if taxed in Switzerland. Most dividend tax is rather high. Capital gains tax is 0....
I guess because he wants dividends to be greater than interest on his lombard loans so he can avoid any risk of being classified as a professional trader?

Although why Swiss stocks specifically I am not sure.

Buy the PS instead (symbol LISP), basically 1/10 of a share without voting rights. The lack of voting rights gets you 6-7% discount currently.
but do you still get free chocolate??

More importantly - do you still get the chocolate?
Mhhh, maybe that's the real reason why the PS trade at a discount.

It's a no-brainer, go SREN.

For a broader picture, have a look here.

Good choice

Added that to my list including Holcim

Probably other good options are a telco (like Swisscom), insurance company (e.g. Swiss Life or Baloise) and ADecco looks interesting albeit slightly overvalued.

Want to not get too heavy on the financials
