Best high quality high div. yield Swiss stocks

High quality as in: payout ratio <100% AND no excessive debt on the balance sheet AND reasonable earnings multiple

High yield as in: >3% (so e.g. nestle does not qualify)

I am quite happy with Holcim (their div payouts are also subject to a special tax regime which means more money for the stock owner). Looking for more quality high yield Swiss stocks though as i really do need to put more of my $$$ into CHF.

Appreciate if people can share their stock tips + rationale for the tips.

High quality and high yield aren't normally attributes you observe together, although there are exceptions.

I'd go for PMI - a rare exception.

Swiss Re? At least a high div. and relatively stable. (P/E a bit highish compared to industry)

What a way to impose you own morality. I'll do it too and call them hedonistic stocks

If you have invested in SwissRe please read their info to investors frequently. If too much effort, visit frequently www.artemis.bm By the way, today is the 1st day of the "official" Atlantic hurricane season, enjoy the show.

They sell no cigarettes in the US despite being listed there, Russia, Indonesia & India are their biggest markets which are still growing.

I haven't, but a great resource, thanks for sharing and heads up!

I just noticed they are and have been paying a high dividend (so far), which is part of what the OP looks for.

Sadly dividend is only 1.2% so doesn't meet the requirements of the OP. Unless you count chocolate as a dividend in kind!

I already pay for the privilege, so definitely. I've been tempted to by one from time to time. And a BRK-A... but I think I need a portfolio some magnitudes bigger!

Buy the PS instead (symbol LISP), basically 1/10 of a share without voting rights. The lack of voting rights gets you 6-7% discount currently.

Re: Best high quality high div. yield Swiss stocks

Does it really make sense to look for high dividend yield stocks if taxed in Switzerland. Most dividend tax is rather high. Capital gains tax is 0....

More importantly - do you still get the chocolate?
