Adding degiro/IB to Charles Schwab?

Hi All,
I have my investments split between a Charles Schwab international account (where I mostly have very plain ETFs like SCHB, SCHF, REET, PAVE) and Fundsmith (directly with them in Luxembourg).
I would like to diversify a bit, and one option was to buy some shares in Smithson. However, it is not available on Charles Schwab, so I would have these three options:

- Get something similar on Charles Schwab, maybe some midcap ETF (ideas?)
Pro: No new account to open
Con: No smithson

- Open an Interactive Brokers account, Smithson should be available there. Then close Charles Schwab, I guess? Does it make sense to have both?
Pro: it would be also good to have IB to exchange currencies as needed.
Con: another US account, so W8BEN forms, tax withholding, DA1, etc...

- Get a Degiro account (and where? UK, NL, CH?)
Pro: maybe easier to do the tax reporting? no withholding if UK? don't know really.
Con: maybe slightly higher fees than IB, but simpler interface?

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Vanguard offers a long list of low-cost ETFs and many or most should be available through Charles Schwab:

Good luck!
