I can tell you that with such a salary you can deduct a maximal 3a pillar contribution* and expect to get back 700-900 CHF. This without a full tax declaration, just the Quellensteuer simplified deduction form.
*note the "a" in "3a": the 3a contribution is capped.
Considering that your net hourly wage is in the ballpark of 35-40 CHF/h, investing 4-5 hours on the full declaration to save 300 CHF might not be that interesting. In a similar situation after some preliminary math I decided to forget about doing the full declaration as long as I was on B permit.
Of course YMMV, particularly if you expect to have non-standard income or reductions.
