A true poster would probably say ďwhoís Justin?Ē

And Iím not ďcontacting youĒ, merely responding with my thoughts on a public thread!

Really Justin, another one of these "crisis" threads where you claim to make only 1000chf per month and yet house/help people for free, the story and details of which seem to change each time? Sigh.

On the off-chance that the bill part is real, then do as you wrote and ask them to pay in instalments.

If you really are anorexic, I hope you are getting some help. Self help here wonít cut it. Anorexia has the highest death rate of any psychiatric disorder. Take care.

The posts of Justin/Moire/Baselg are very similar, without any doubt. Fair enough, if the set of needs remains. The discussion of whether or not you may be a troll seems to be important to some posters. You can choose whether or not that is important to you. Only you know your truth.

In any case, you keep posting asking for information and that may be because you are in deep need or trouble of several types (and no-one at all knows that, except you).

If the things you write are true,
then that is one awful, awful set of experiences to have gone through, and a lot of serious consequences, and altogether way too much trauma for one young person to have to deal with. Especially not without help.
Therefore I hope that, for those needs that are pressing, you will manage to scrape together the physical and psychological energy to call or go to one of the many advice centres to which you've been pointed.
https://www.englishforum.ch/3209372-post20.html
I think it's a good idea to either not respond to (or skip over) posts that bother one, or else to reply - not naively - but with helpful suggestions. In any case, there's no need to be nasty.
"This forum has compassionately helped more than one young (or not so young) person to find their way, and not get into legal trouble, and prevented worse. As I see it, just in case some or all of the muddle and desperation Justin posts is, in one way or another, true, there's no need to risk exacerbating his situation and pushing him over the edge."

I think we are collectively very well able to deal with trolls. And I don't have a problem with that. ....

We should never exclude the possibility that a poster who comes across as being clumsy may be genuine and is maybe, for whatever reason, struggling to express themselves ably or to read between the lines of what we say or judge a situation correctly.

... If we chased away somebody who was genuinely in need of help, that was an ignoble thing to do.
Or as ASwissinTheUS said, more forcefully:
https://www.englishforum.ch/3224372-post11.html
"It is quite simple: Whoever it might be and now matter how stubid the question actually is, give a kind and reasonable answer from which others in the future with a similar problem could profit. Refrain from snarky comments".

Re: Unexpected bill

Because of the reasoning above, here, again, some of the advice from the other, similar threads:

Getting help (post by NotSwissEnough)
Psychotherapy for PTSD

Psychotherapy for Anorexia

How to get help
How to find a psychotherapist

How to get help
A doctor can prescribe a nurse who will make house calls to help in finding ways to deal with an array of psychiatric and social issues. This service is covered by the obligatory medical insurance (in German: Krankenkasse, Grundverischerung).

https://www.englishforum.ch/3140794-post4.html
How to get help
Caritas is a charity organisation funded partly by the government. It provides advice and counselling in all sorts of matters to do with money, budgeting, debt, contracts, rental, etc. and helps to find ways out of trouble.

https://www.englishforum.ch/3160918-post20.html
How to get help
Just start somewhere and follow through.
I recommend Caritas or the Crisis Intervention Centre
https://www.upk.ch/ueber-uns/klinike...nsstation.html

At all times, 24/7, there is also the 143 "Helping Hand" helpline.
https://www.143.ch/
The offer phonecalls around the clock, and mails and chats.

As always, whenever one approaches any advice centre for help, remember that the first person you speak to might not be able to help, or might not be able to speak the language you need, but you can try again, later, and might reach someone else. It is also often the case that one advice centre can refer one on to another, so it is worth asking around and following those suggestions, until your find the right match for you and your situation.
