Withholding Tax Rate Q

I have moved out of the canton of Zurich recently and am wondering from when a new withholding tax rate will be applied.

Thanks in advance

Re: Withholding Tax Rate Q

that's a question you your employer really, assuming you have told them. which you should because they do the deduction.

I think if you move 'during' a month then the next salary will have the new rate. tax is usually calculated where you are will be on last day of the month.

Obviously if you move on the first then the whole month is in the new rate.

and of course you have to tell the commune you have moved who will update the tax authorities, etc etc
